Summer Songfest with special guests Larry & JoAnn Shade

Larry and JoAnn Shade are leading a special gathering with singing of our most beloved hymns. Larry and JoAnn are from the Canton, Ohio area. Larry is the brother of our member Jessie Butler. He and his wife are retired officers of the Salvation Army. Larry is a great singer, pastor, and story teller. JoAnn accompanies on the piano and is very talented also.
This event is for everyone in our community who enjoys music and singing. Come, bring a friend, sing with us and listen to Larry and JoAnn put their special touch on the afternoon. Following the service, we will have a potluck at the Fellowship Hall, located behind the church. The Summer Songfest will be Sunday September 10th., starting at 5:00 p.m. at the St. George United Methodist Church. There is no admission fee, but we will ask for free-will donations to help with their travel expenses.
